DESIFER

Desifer through Teagasc is a collaborative design research project that investigates the hidden power of fermented foods and their impact on human health. Partnering with Teagasc, Ireland’s agriculture and food research authority, the project visualises the complex relationships between the gut, brain, and microbiome. From lab to table, Desifer transforms scientific inquiry into an engaging design narrative-exploring how the smallest organisms shape our bodies, moods, and minds.
